slowly but surely

It almost feels like a Friday...I only have one class tomorrow. :)

I grabbed some coffee before Japanese, so I wouldn't be half asleep during class again. This time I got it from the cafe next to our dorm, and not Starbucks (which also happens to be very nearby). It was good, and I snagged a day old blueberry muffin for 99 cents.

Finally went to the school library to type up and print some things. It was pretty easy, and I went while computers were still available. I think I may go there more when I need to write something. I can print things out instantly and I won't have any distractions, haha.
Between mentor inquiry and freshman inquiry, I realized I was supposed to write a poem about the selection of Plato we read. At least I read it, right? This is when I went to the library. I quickly wrote up a "rap about the republic" (of all things, a rap...).
We were handed back our essays about how we've developed as writers and thinkers, and I didn't do too bad. That's a good sign.

After my classes were done for the day and I had some time to relax in my dorm room, I ventured into the town. I'm slowly getting used to the area. Very slowly. It was kind of cold but not extremely so.

Walking around the city...priceless?
